Forum planned





The Community Foundation for Oak Park will host an Election Forum to give residents an opportunity to see and hear the candidates for the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council (MAC), the Oak Park Unified School District Board, and those supporting and opposing "Measure O" (the Ventura County Tobacco Tax Initiative) on the Nov. 7 ballot.


The forum will be at 7:30 p.m. Wed., Oct. 18 in the multi-purpose room at Red Oak Elementary School, 4857 Rockfield St., Oak Park.


All candidates are scheduled to participate.


The foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization charged with overseeing a variety of Oak Park grants and organizations.
