For snacks, read the ingredients

I want to respond to the back and forth, black and white positions taken by several people regarding snacks and treats for kids after games.

I am always astonished by the parents who have the means to buy high-quality, good-tasting snacks but instead buy the poorest quality of foods filled with food coloring, preservatives and who knows what else.

I am a mom who, when it was my turn to bring the snacks, would bring a combo of cold orange slices or watermelon and a mix of cookies, brownies,...
