Food for thought

While reading the Sept. 5 edition of The Acorn, I could not miss the appalling photograph of a lion feeding on a deer. Hopefully the photographer will not gain further recognition than The Acorn provided.
The two pictures served nothing more than sensationalism and self-aggrandizement by the photographer at the cost of an innocent helpless deer getting gorged by a lion. What’s the difference if the scene depicted the same with a human or dog?
