The Triunfo YMCA will hold its annual Thanksgiving Space Exploration Camp from Nov. 20 through 22 at the Willow Elementary School childcare facility at 29026 Laro Drive, Agoura Hills.

Camp hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Las Virgenes Unified School District is closed the week of Thanksgiving.

Campers age 5 through 14 will take part in a variety of supervised indoor and outdoor activities.

This year’s theme is “Full Steam Ahead.” The camp will emphasize STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) projects.

On Nov. 20, projects will include ice painting, making glow-in-the-dark slime, homemade ice cream and a team challenge.

Vicki the Science Lady will visit Nov. 21. The day will also have salt painting, a bubble mania outdoor activity and a team-building rocket project.

Campers will create lava lamps and kaleidoscopes as well as cook solar s’mores on Nov. 22.

The fee is $155 for all three days. Daily rates are not offered. Before and after camp childcare is provided at no extra cost.
