Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Westlake Village and Calabasas will host the annual Adopt-A-Dog event from noon to 3 p.m. Sun., Sept. 29 at 883 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village, at the corner of Townsgate Road.
Furry friends will be coming from LA County Animal Services Agoura Hills Shelter, with support from Friends of Homeless Animals, Southern California and Healthcare for Homeless Animals, Canine Adoption and Rescue League and Chiquitas- Friends.org.
Kriser’s Natural Pet with have samples of their pet food products.
Dog walker/hiker Karen van Hoepen of K9 Hikes will be present.
Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital will have goodies for furry friends.
The Nutrition Fix of Westlake Village will offer healthy shake and smoothie samples for people friends.
Thousand Oaks Kona Ice will sell cool people treats.
For over 100 years Coldwell Banker has helped people find a home, and now its mission extends to man’s best friend.
On a national level Coldwell Banker has teamed up with Adopt-a-Pet.com for their Homes For Dogs Project, which connects adoptable pets with their forever families.
Donations of new or used towels, blankets, collars, leashes and new toys, as well as financial donations will be accepted and given to the local organizations.
Donated items may be dropped off at either Coldwell Banker office till Sept. 30 at the above address in Westlake or at 23647 Calabasas Road, Calabasas.
Meet and greets for those who currently own a dog are available. Make sure dogs are on leashes.
