Olivia DeLaurentis wanted her short film “Agouraphobia” to poke fun at life in the small, affluent bubble that is Agoura.
She knew it was a hit when it got over 15,000 views on YouTube.
“Strangers would quote it to me in restaurants, so that was funny,” DeLaurentis said.
DeLaurentis, a distant relative of movie producer Dino De Laurentiis, has been writing, directing and starring in films like “Agouraphobia” since she was 5 years old.
