Calabasas residents have paid a 5 percent utility user tax since the city was incorporated in 1991, but now a group of residents wants to repeal it.
Utility tax opponents recently conducted a petition drive and said they’ve obtained enough signatures to put the tax to a vote on an upcoming ballot.
