A REAL BOY—Zak Harvey, a seventh-grader at Chaparral Middle School, portrays Pinocchio in Chris Carnicelli’s “Pinocchio 2: The Return of Stromboli” on Sept. 2 at Foxfield Park in Westlake Village. The performance was part of the Fairy Tales in the Park theater series featuring the Gypsies in a Trunk players. The other actors in the play were: writer/director Chris Carnicelli as Stromboli, Brandi Paolini as The Blue Fairy, Carina Marie as Honest John, Patrick McGrath as Geppetto, Sierra Armstrong as Pinocchia and Maya Landry as Jiminy Cricket.
