End of oil spill proclaimed



The command group responsible for cleaning up the May 19 Refugio oil spill says no petroleum has been found in the affected ocean areas area since June 3.
Eight vessels will remain on the water to monitor for oil and will do so until all cleanup operations are finished, officials said. More than 14,200 gallons of oily water mix has been recovered since the cleanup operation began.
