Duo aces Maccabi Games again

GOLDEN GUYS—Local high school players Nate Rosen of Westlake Village, left and Justin Klausner of Agoura Hills win an unprecedented fourth consecutive baseball gold medal at the JCC Maccabi Games in Atlanta. Their L.A. Westside team defeated a combined side from Long Beach/San Diego/St. Louis/ Cleveland 17-4. Rosen and Klausner were the only returning players to compete all four eligible years. Their teammates included players from Calabasas and other local high schools. The JCC Maccabi Games are an Olympic-style program for Jewish teenagers. This year’s event had more than 1,600 athletes ages 12 to 16 who competed in 13 sports.
