Drone policy at LVUSD

The Las Virgenes Unified School District dialed in a new drone policy at a recent board of education meeting. The new guidelines will give teachers and other individuals the right to use drones on school property under certain conditions and with proper licensing.
Drones currently aren’t permitted for educational purposes in California public schools, but Las Virgenes officials believe the time is near when teachers might have a use for the small, unmanned craft.
