Drivers get surprise smog check in Agoura Hills

PULL OVER—Mike Piercy, with the state Bureau of Automotive Repair, administers a smog check to a car at Kanan Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard on May 28. The random checks are done throughout California to gather information that will help improve the effectiveness of the state’s smog program. Cars newer than 1976 must be smogged.
