The Malibu Coast Vintners and Grape Growers Alliance will host the third annual Wine Celebration from 1 to 5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 12 at Triunfo Creek Vineyards, 2714 Triunfo Canyon Road, Agoura Hills.
Guests will be able to taste over 50 different wines made from the grape varieties grown within the Malibu Coast American Viticultural Area.
George Rosenthal will receive the Pioneer Award.
“As one of the original vintners in the region, he early on established standards in grape growing and winemaking that we all continue to reference as benchmarks,” said John Gooden, alliance president.
The celebration will serve food from Michael’s Santa Monica, Duke’s Malibu, Aroha New Zealand Cuisine, Sarah’s Cupcakes and 805 Catering Company.
The Vinyl Gypsies, a Southern California classic rock band, will perform.

The Malibu Coast AVA is an agriculturally-zoned region in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties with some 50 vineyards and 200 acres of sustainably-farmed vines.
