Downtown Oxnard concerts coming back





The 11th annual Summer Concerts in downtown Oxnard will be presented from 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 15. Most performances will be at Heritage Square, corner of 7th and "A" streets.


The public is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and picnic with the whole family. Reserved seating is available for $8 per person as well as table reservations (lawn seating is free).


The concert series will feature country, nouveau flamenco, Cuban salsa, classic jazz, Latin jazz, rock ’n’ roll and more.

The summer concert series showcases classic R&B, jazz and Latin bands and is organized by the Carnegie Art Museum Cornerstones to help fund the museum’s educational programs.
