A large section of a heritage oak tree near Old Agoura broke and separated recently, causing residents to worry about the ultimate fate of the majestic tree.
The damage occurred on May 31 near Chesebro Meadow.
“What a disaster. That icon must have been over 500 years old,” Jess Thomas, president of the Old Agoura Homeowners Association, told The Acorn.
