Distracted driving laws should apply to everyone

As motorists, we’re reminded repeatedly how dangerous—not to mention illegal—it is to drive while distracted.
The sheriff’s department says distracted driving falls into three categories: visual (wondering eyes), manual (wondering hands) and cognitive (wondering minds).
