TRICKED YOU—Left, comedy magician Bob Bolivar deceives his volunteer, Betty Jones- Smotherman, during his March 13 Daniel’s Day of Magic show at the Cancer Support Community on Hampshire Road in the Westlake portion of T.O. Right, Bolivar performs a rope trick for his captivated audience. Bolivar is also a featured magician at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. The event is presented annually in memory of Daniel Jacoby, who died in 2004 of a brain tumor.
