GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT—Thrive Dance Center hosts its seventh annual beach clean-up Sept. 24. Children ages 3 to 18 picked up trash and recycling along a large stretch of Zuma.Besides the beach effort, the Thrive community also takes part in a candy drive for the troops, an annual holiday food drive and free classes for special needs students, a blanket drive for the Agoura animal shelter, and a Jolly Squad performing group that tours local assisted living facilities and other charity events.
