Will Sweeney Todd raise his razor high? Could a “Wicked” witch defy gravity? Or maybe Dr. Jekyll will undergo a scary onstage transformation.

All of these scary situations are possible when Hillcrest Center for the Arts presents “Bloody Bloody Cabaret” on its patio stage at 8 p.m. Fri., Oct. 13 at 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

This Halloween-themed cabaret show will feature some of Broadway’s creepiest tunes performed, according to producers, in a “dark and scary outdoor theater among craggy oak trees far up on an ancient hillside.”

The show’s set list is being kept under wraps, but producers are specifying that this will be an R-rated show, so leave the little ones at home.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit Young Artists Ensemble, an award-winning theater company for young people.

Tickets are $12 advance, $15 at the door. Parking is free.
