Oak Park residents may discard items of electronic waste
from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sat.,
July 9 in the parking lot at Oak
Park High School, 899 N. Kanan
Road, Oak Park.
The program is the Oak Park
Community Beautification and
Electronic Waste Day, sponsored
by Ventura County Supervisor
Linda Parks, Ventura County Environmental and Energy Resources Division, Ventura County
Probation Department and GI Industries and Consolidated Disposal Service.
Recycling bins will be available for electronic waste (such as
computers, monitors, VCRs, cell
phones, fax machines, TVs, etc.),
residential yard waste, wood and
scrap lumber, metal and scrap
metal.
Unacceptable items include
tires, refrigerators and palm
fronds.

waste disposal, call (805) 4497283 to schedule an appointment
for drop-off in Thousand Oaks.
