‘Cowboy Christmas’ coming to CSUN





Riders in the Sky, a band that’s been making music for nearly 24 years that celebrates the characters and culture of the West, will perform a holiday concert at 2 p.m. Sun., Dec. 5 at the Performing Arts Center at Cal State University Northridge (CSUN) in the Student Union on Zelzah Avenue between Prairie and Plummer streets.


Band members are Ranger Doug, Too Slim, Woody Paul and Joey the Cowpolka King. They revere the Old West acts and early Opry stars and are known for their acoustic musicianship and blending of voices in a message of "big old moons, bellowing heifers and pure, pure cowboy love."


Parking is in Lot G4. It costs $4. Tickets ranging from $15 to $45 are available. Call (818) 677-2488.
