COVID numbers

I understand that letters to the editor are not articles printed by The Acorn, but it would be helpful if letters received corrective text when they are completely inaccurate and misleading.
Brock Backlund claims that we’ve somehow overlooked the “low mortality” rate of COVID-19. He pegs that rate at “about .02%, the same as a bad flu.”
