The county’s largest toy drive delivered thousands of smiles this Christmas, organizers said.
During the two weeks prior to the holiday, more than 4,200 foster children and kids from low-income households picked out free toys and gifts at the Ventura County Children’s Services Auxiliary’s 33rd annual Toy Store.
The auxiliary’s 10-member board set up this year’s Toy Store inside donated space across from the Ventura County Government Center in Ventura.
