County’s budget problems force Agoura Hills to cut back library hours



REDUCED SERVICE—The Agoura Hills Library would only be open four days a week under a proposal from the county.

Because of Los Angeles County budget problems—the county is facing a $500-million shortfall—the Agoura Hills public library must scale back its hours of operation.

The library next to city hall is open for 50 hours over six days per week. A proposed cutback would leave the library open for 40 hours over four days per week.
