County tries to help make traffic safer near schools in Oak Park

The county will provide several devices to boost traffic safety near schools in Oak Park, said Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks at a Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) meeting last week.
Flashing crosswalks will be installed at Red Oak and Brookside elementary schools, and a permanent solar-powered speed monitor will be set up on Doubletree, near Medea Creek Middle School.
