Four of Los Angeles County’s large vaccination sites are being closed in the wake of growing evidence the pandemic is coming to an end. Smaller community sites will be used to administer the shots instead, county public health officials said.
The mega-center at Cal State Northridge— where many residents of Calabasas, Agoura Hills and Westlake Village received their COVID-19 shots starting in late January— closed June 7 and moved to a smaller operation at the nearby Balboa Sports Complex.
