Calabasas Mayor Pro Tem Michael Harrison said earlier this week that the city’s general fund is short $3 million and he doesn’t know why.
Harrison has complained in the past about poor accounting procedures regarding the Ahmanson litigation, a battle against Washington Mutual’s 3,050-home development proposed for Ahmanson Ranch, north of Calabasas in Ventura County. But even that waste, he said, wouldn’t add up to $3 million.
