The Westlake Village Music Society will present “Music for a Fall Afternoon” at 4:30 p.m. Sun., Sept. 24 at the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village, 1049 S. Westlake Blvd.
The Amici Musicae performers will be Tamara Chernyak on violin, Wendy Velasco on cello and Christine De Klotz on piano.
The program will include a piano piece by Rossini, a sonata for violin and piano by Beethoven, a sonata for cello and piano by Shostakovich, and a Brahms trio for piano, violin and cello.
Chernyak has retired from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Velasco plays with the New West Symphony. De Klotz plays with many groups and soloists throughout Southern California.
