Companionship programs offered





Pathways Companion Program offers companionship to the homebound and respite relief to caregivers in the Conejo and Simi valleys. Trained volunteers visit weekly from one to three hours. In addition to respite and companionship, an assigned volunteer may help with errands, transportation or minor home chores.


The next training class for this program will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Sept. 13 at 80 E. Hillcrest Drive, Ste. 204, T.O.

Hospice of the Conejo will also offer an eight-week volunteer training program beginning Thurs., Sept. 18. It will tell about end of life issues.


Hospice of the Conejo volunteers assist with their many programs, offered free of charge to those facing serious illness and grief issues in the Conejo Valley, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Agoura, Oak Park and Calabasas.
