Community gives

SAVING LIVES—Itamar Harari of Agoura Hills is one of about 150 residents who came to the Jan. 29 Chai Drive For Life blood drive hosted by Chabad of the Conejo in Agoura Hills. The drive collected 104 pints of blood and 20 new names listed on the bone marrow registry. The event was held for Oak Park resident Carrie Greenberg, who has leukemia. Greenberg’s friend David Markowicz organized the event.“Chai”means“long life“ in Hebrew.
