‘Color of the Cross’ puts new face on gospel story

"Color of the Cross," the first feature film depiction of Jesus Christ as a black man, will debut in Ventura County at 7 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 9, with a second show at 6 p.m. Sun., Dec. 10 at Saint Paul Baptist Church, 1777 Statham Blvd. in Oxnard.
The screenings are hosted by the Ventura County Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., a national community service organization.
