College actors set to tackle Chekhov

The Moorpark College Theatre Arts Department can finally check off Chekhov.

Drama students at the school had never staged an Anton Chekhov play, and department chair John Loprieno “felt it was about time we produced one of his shows.”

Picked for the honor is “Three Sisters,” which will run Oct. 11 through 21 in the Moorpark College performing arts center, 7075 Campus Road.
