TEAMMATES DIG HER—Calabasas High’s Heather Tepper suffers from esophoria, an eye condition that limits peripheral vision. Despite the physical setback, she refuses to quit playing volleyball.

Heather Tepper had just earned a roster spot on the girls’ junior varsity volleyball team at Calabasas High.

That’s when Tepper’s eye doctor told her some disheartening news.
