City wants more applicants

The city of Calabasas has been without a regular finance director since Cindy Borchard resigned in December for a better job. The city conducted an unsuccessful search to fill the position. Of 21 applicants, none were acceptable, according to City Manager Donald Duckworth.
An interim finance director has since occupied the position and the council authorized an expenditure of $20,950 for a search firm to fill the position.
