City keeps motor running on Dial-A-Ride

The Agoura Hills City Council approved a two-year contract extension for Dial-A-Ride, the low-cost cab service that’s been with the city for 16 years.
A consultant told the council in May that Dial-A-Ride would serve the citizens better than a proposed fixed-route shuttle bus system.
Unlike the continuous shuttle, Dial-A-Ride comes only when customers call. It costs $1 for rides in Agoura Hills and $1.50 for rides to Oak Park.
