Calabasas completes 57-acre annexation

A move by the Calabasas City Council to annex new property on the west side of town will generate up to $600,000 in annual tax revenue and add 57 acres of land to the city.

The council approved a deal Aug. 8 with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to annex unincorporated county territory on Agoura Road between Liberty Canyon and Malibu Hills roads.
