Church of Epiphany to begin New Year with music





The Church of the Epiphany will present two concerts in January.

At 5 p.m. Sun., Jan. 8, Frank Garvey will play 20th-century works by Terry Riley, Charles Griffes and others in a free piano recital. The event will begin with Choral Evensong by the parish choir. A reception will follow.

The Definiens Project will perform at 5 p.m. Sun., Jan. 22. The event will begin with a wine reception and introductions. The concert will feature music for brass quintet and organ, including works by Chopin, Tchaikovsky and others.

The suggested donation is $25 for family, $10 for adult, and $5 for children, students and seniors.
