Christopher Charles Biggs, beloved son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on June 28, 2015.

Born on December 15, 1989, in Westlake Village, he was the son of John and Catherine Biggs ofThousand Oaks. Chris attended Westminster Presbyterian Church Preschool, Meadows Elementary School, Colina Middle School and Westlake High School. After attending Moorpark College for two years, he completed his Bachelor of Science in economics at Arizona State University. After graduating he worked as a stockbroker for Charles Schwab in Phoenix, Arizona.

Active in youth sports, Chris played football for Westlake High School from 2004-2008. He will be remembered for his love of travel, music and family. While spending a semester in Barcelona, Spain, he visited many European cities, acquiring an appreciation for art, architecture, people of other cultures and especially music. He developed a passion for composing and producing electronic music. For the past two years, he lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, to be near his girlfriend, Lauren, while still feeling a close attachment to his family in California. A gentle and generous soul, Chris will be remembered for his consideration for others and love of family.

Chris is survived by his parents, John and Cathie Biggs, sister Kelley, brother John (Jake), grandmother Lillian Cannizzo, girlfriend, Lauren Fair, uncle Craig Cannizzo and his wife, Allison Page Cannizzo, aunt Caron Battaglia and her husband Richard Battaglia, aunt Cathy Biggs, uncle Robert Biggs, and cousins, friends, and Mila and Milton (his “kittens”). He was predeceased by his grandfather Frank John Cannizzo in 2007.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 32111 Watergate Road, Westlake Village, for those who wish to pay their respects. Final resting place, Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.
