Chorale welcomes the season with joy

Los Robles Master Chorale will make spirits bright with its annual holiday concert, “A Joyful Noise!” at 4 p.m. Sun., Dec. 8 in the Carpenter Family Theatre on the campus of Westlake High School, 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

The family-friendly concert for all ages is led by artistic director Lesley Leighton.

The 70-voice ensemble will perform traditional classics including Tomás Luis de Victoria’s “O Magnum Mysterium” and Benjamin Britten’s “A Hymn to the Virgin.”

A jazz quartet will accompany new, modern arrangements of holiday favorites, sung in the swinging style of the vocal group Pentatonix.

Advance tickets are $30 for adults; $25 for seniors age 65 and older; $15 for students age 18 and under); and $5 for children age 12 and under.

All tickets are $5 additional if purchased at the door.
