Chargers stay busy in January

Agoura High has had a whirlwind month.

Jason Rosenthal, the only head coach the school has ever had in girls’ water polo, went for career win No. 700 on Wednesday against Westlake. A final score was not available at press time.

Rosenthal’s win total includes his 12 seasons leading the boys’ water polo team. His Agoura girls’ squads won a CIF-Southern Section record 146 straight league games entering the Marmonte League clash against Westlake.

Agoura is seeking a pole vault coach for its track and field team.

Interested coaches can email athletic director Clint Cummings (clcummings@lvusd.org) or Natasha Capretta (ncapretta@lvusd.org.)

The Chargers have been busy hiring new varsity head coaches the past few days.

Joseph Byrd (track and field), Scott McCreary (girls’ golf) and David Sparks (boys’ water polo) have been tabbed as head coaches at Agoura.
