The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its 2018 Regional Economic Forecast from 7 to 9 a.m. Fri., June 22 at the Hyatt Regency Westlake, 880 S. Westlake Blvd. in Westlake Village.

The keynote speaker will be Jon Irwin, chief executive for the rapidly growing home safety tech company, Ring.

Matthew Fienup, executive director of the Center for Economic Research and Forecasting at Cal Lutheran University, will give an economic update.

Irwin is a technology and media executive. Ring provides home security products.

Prior to Ring, Irwin served as the head of global business development for Amazon video where he built distribution partnerships for customers across major consumer electronics devices and distribution channels.

Fienup teaches courses in econometrics, macroeconomics and environmental economics in the CLU master’s degree program of quantitative economics.

His specialties are applied econometric analysis, the economics of land use and environmental markets.

Fienup’s research also examines the unintended consequences of urban containment policies.

Rick Lemmo, senior vice president, corporate relations for Caruso, will serve as moderator.

A hot buffet breakfast and check-in will start at 6:45 a.m. The program will begin promptly at 7:15 a.m.

Early registration is $50 until 5 p.m. Tues., June 19. The fee at the door will be $60.
