Challenger wants to ‘dethrone’ Groveman



The race for two Calabasas City Council seats in the March 8, 2011 election will likely contain some lively debates as opponents rally to defeat two incumbents who are due for reelection.
The term of each City Council seat is four years. The nomination period opened Monday and closes Dec. 10. Mayor Barry Groveman and Mayor Pro Tem Dennis Washburn both said they will run for office again.
