Center input is needed

During the temporary closure of the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, the Joint Powers Authority board of directors— comprising representatives from the two cities and center staff—are working on a new business plan and restructuring of the center.

The board is looking for public input and feedback regarding the facility and its mission for 2021 and beyond. Due to the pandemic, the community center will be closed for the rest of the year.

Residents can email their comments and ideas to Brianne Anderson, executive director, at brianne@ahccc.org.

Also, the nonprofit arm of the center, the Community Center Alliance, is looking for new members to revitalize and work on fundraising strategies for the facility. Community members who are interested in assisting the center in any way can also email Anderson at the above address.
