Celebrate Presidents Day at Reagan Library

Storytelling, crafts for the family


The Reagan Library will present the 18th annual Presidents Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon., Feb. 15 at the museum, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

The program includes the following family events.

•Presidential storytelling by president and first lady look-alikes Abigail Adams, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

•Musical entertainment by the Los Cerritos Instrumental Music, Thousand Oaks High School Band and Ira Nepus Jazz Band.

•Crafts and activities such as designing a Lincoln penny, making a tri-corn colonial hat, presidential bingo and a scavenger hunt.

•View the Ferdinand Magellan Presidential Train inside the Air Force One Pavilion.

All-American food will be available for purchase.  

President’s Day activities are free, except to see the Ferdinand Magellan Train, which is inside the exhibits. Free parking and shuttle pick-up will be available along Presidential Drive. Museum admission applies to visit the exhibits.
