Car hits boy on bicycle



A student who was riding his bicycle to Medea Creek Middle School in Oak Park was hit by a car, Wed., Jan. 7 at dismissal time. The boy was not injured, said Tony Knight, superintendent of Oak Park schools.
The boy apparently was riding his bike down the school's entrance driveway where a parked SUV obstructed his view. He rode into the street where he was struck by a car and thrown into the air. He was not wearing a helmet, Knight said. Paramedics were ...
