Canwood trees taken out



THE BARE FACTS— Above, workers finish the removal of 10 elm trees between Canwood Street and the 101 Freeway just west of Reyes Adobe Road in Agoura Hills. The city told an office park property owner who’s responsible for the elms that the trees were in poor health and not likely to recover. Herbicide poisoning by Caltrans, which maintains the freeway, is possible, one city official said. The property owner said there are no immediate plans to replace the trees. A file photo at left ...
