This week’s rains have pushed back plans by Caltrans to put the finishing touches on a long-awaited effort to repave Westlake Boulevard from the 101 Freeway south to Carlisle Road this month.
Crews were originally slated to put down permanent striping, pavement markers and green-painted bike lanes between March 9 and 21, but Caltrans delayed the work ahead of this week’s forecasted storm.
