California labor market good, but could be better



 The California Labor Market Information Division released its December 2017 report recently, showing surprisingly little movement in the data. State unemployment remained stable at 3.8 percent, with a net change of minus 100 jobs in the non-farm sector.
Last month we reported that 3.8 percent was the lowest unemployment rate we’ve seen for any November going back at least to 2000. We can report the same for December.
