Easier cell tower approval complies with FCC mandate

Calabasas officials have amended the city’s wireless ordinance to allow minor modifications on existing cell facilities without public hearings.
Four years ago, the city passed an ordinance to regulate the placement of new wireless facilities in response to concerns of some residents who didn’t want cell towers too close to homes, parks and schools.
