The Calabasas City Council is putting the finishing touches on its new two-year budget.
Each year, Calabasas manages a $36-million budget, with a $21-million general fund, twothirds of which are used for dayto day activities, city operations and other discretionary programs.
As of June 30, the general fund balance is projected at $14 million. That amount will decrease to $13.7 million by the end of the next fiscal year, June 30, 2015.
